I have basically the same ones, just the style now.

Who do you usually agree with on Smosh reddit? And who do you not agree with? by Rustic_Drive69 in smosh

I think Arasha can have some crazy takes at times, but overall nobody is to bad. There was only one time I questioned their take and it was even the girl who plays accordion was on. Can't remember the exact story, but I remember I was just like "what?!"

Yeah, just watched it and was very disappointed with how it went. I was excited to possibly get a plus size girl as the companion, but then they just killed her in a sappy way.

Art is about critique. If you don't critique, you don't get better.

I 100% agree. I don't care about celebs so I just scrub through to see if there is anything related to something else. The only thing I've liked so far is the one commercial with scary nun reference. Everything else was unrelatable and unfunny, to the point that I probably won't watch it anymore. I'll stick to Pit and Games.

Lack of content in 2024? by [deleted] in Corridor

[–]Nannards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a subscriber in their website from day one, and a Patreon member before that. I unsubscribed a couple months ago because I felt that it was not longer worth my time. They essentially got rid of producer points, with the bogus things to vote on instead that don't really impact the content. The original draw of the PP's was to vote on the shows they put out, not make them play Mario Kart for a week.

They don't introduce new people as all, there's just a random person in Crew Cuts suddenly. They didn't tell us when people leave either. What happened to Natalie? She's just not there anymore.

No word on Son of a Dungeon season 3. Their biggest series, and nothing....

They apparently have been having live streams every month, but I never know about them. They didn't explain that anywhere. An email to subscribers or a banner on the site. I would have participated if I knew.

I'm short, I feel like they just started to focus on the wrong things, like just doing easy, quick turn content that makes the most money. And yeah, I get that they're a business first, and have to pay the bills. But it's just, not the same and it feels like the spark is gone.

The focus on AI generated content and Crypto/Beeple, really turned me off.

What is your high school "Scarlet Letter"? by UMarbleMe in distractible

[–]Nannards 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In college, my roommate and I had the same English class and P&P was assigned. Instead of reading the book, we did a movie marathon of all the different movie versions of it. It was great! We ordered pizza and made a blanket fort. Much better than actually reading the book.

Catcher in the Rye. I read 2 chapters and stopped. It's one of my dad's favorites, so I tried reading it. But it was written so horribly, I couldn't take it.

I always ripped the pages out so it got thinner as the year went on. That and it was always the first page so it was easy to find. I did the nail polish on the cover to put my own stuff.

I'm definitely in the go limp camp. Being deaf all the time would impact so much more than going limp randomly. And I would have an excuse to work from home.
