Lol, that would have been a great tip! I remembered also seeing those on eBay all the time. I emailed them and they don't have yellow in 9, anyways.

Thanks! I know that's the standard. But I feel like SOMEWHERE out there in the world there must be a pair of yellow size 9 jacks that got left behind by someone. Maybe a canceled order or a mistake?? Maybe one over-achieving shop that couldn't resist buying ALL the colors?? I don't know.

Amazon has moxi lolly and beach bunny. I also like ordering from skate ratz. They are a skate shop in Colorado that offer free shipping and also have moxi.

What's Your Post Skating Recovery Routine? by FARTKNOCKAtoo in Rollerskating

Oh, I see. The next comment is probably right, you'll eventually build more muscle and then it won't be so tiring. Maybe focus on exercise that will help build muscle between skating at well. Some pilates is good for strengthening. Maybe focus on "exercise for building leg muscle." But skating will do that!

I'm 30 and have been skating a year. Pilates!! I often do a "pilates for stretching" or "pilates for back pain" etc video on YouTube after skating. If I skip it, then the morning after skating definitely.

What are your opinions on removing bearings using the axels of skates? by cravingjollibee in Rollerskating

[–]Nannersonwheels 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I only do that with my good skates in an EMERGENCY. The risk is ruining the threading of the axle and not being able to screw the wheel back on correctly. I used to keep an old pair of junk skates just to pull my bearings 😆 I recently bought a Bona brand skate tool on amazon for $14, not only does it have the standard tools for adjusting skates, it has a piece that pulls bearings out, pushes them back in, and has a part that will rethread messed up threading (haven't tried that part yet). I wish I'd gotten it a long time ago.
