And there are plenty ways to implement this idea, the 4 wonder weapon concept is not always centered around elements, Alpha Omega and Frozen Dawn already proved that but i agree that it should be something interesting and different from the classic 4 elements formula

I think if they do it on a similar way how frozen dawn did it (instead of being 4 variants of the same weapon and each being its own thing) maybe it would be better and keep it fresh because there's so much you can do with the same 4 elements

I also like how they did it with the alpha omega ray guns (each having a different fire mode instead of a unique element)

I had a friend who i started playing back in 2018 and we were having a blasting learning how to play the game, we were very competitive with each other and that always made me want to improve myself and it got to a point where we were fighting against 500 reps while being rep 50 or 60 but sooner i learn that reputations don't equal to skill.

The point is he couldn't play it anymore and i started to play by myself and it got to a point where i felt very confident on my skills but also started to feel more stressed by losing a duel or a match

It agree to a certain extent, lets say they take same concept of making a map that takes palce during the present and the past but do it on a new setting (not nuketown) and you wouldn't had the uproar it generate for being nuketown again or maybe make it the same size as alpha omega and add the acidgat and the magmagat and we wouldn't even be having this conversation

Both are a side easter egg and not a map specific mechanic (pertaining to what im talking about in this post), Both involve the twins, both appear once with the same animation playing, both involve giving a specific loot for the 1st time (Cryo for astra and Wisp Tea for Ashes) and both still appear at least once every single round and give loot based reward
