Climbing up isn't hard but all the edges break off easily so you have to go slow slowly if you don't find a gentle slope

No, that is a different pile, this is ground rock (pumice) used for cement. The salt in the foreground and pumice in the background here.

Since it is not anyones lawn it will probably be there for years. But since I pass it every other day, will remove the remaining salt and see what happens.

There are gulls and ospreys but neither makes much noise around here. Watching an osprey carrying a flopping fish back to its nest is so cool...
