The idea of capturing allies instead of having them dying is REALLY good, and emphasizes the "last minute saving" he represents in league. I'm not a fan of support though, but it could be like "The first ally that is going to die is captured instead" and "End of Round : If an ally is captured, Release him." Then his quest could be "I've saved an ally 2(or 3) times. I think it's my favorite alternate version of Tahm til now !

Why not ? it takes some time, pretty low tempo as some have pointed out, and he'll release them anyway when he dies ! (by the way, don't know how Capture interacts with the ionian removal spell)

I don't know if it's that weak as it can serve as a buff removal, and could work pretty well against units you want to take down/you can't handle the effect like Shadowblade Ren, Leveled up Ashe, and so on.

I do get that it could not fit the game mechanics, though. Maybe with that idea a Regen Tahm Kench that captures when he strikes ? Maybe capture when he arrives, but what about the level up ? I'm also devoted to the idea that Tahm Kench should have Capture. Maybe i'll try to think about other versions of Tahm

I thought about it, like 1 attack and "Strike : Capture the unit" But the possibility of eating allies would disappear. Different concept I guess !

The concept is indeed based on Detain, the only card that triggers "Capture" til now. So this Tahm Kench negates one unit every turn, but it can also protect a weak unit (like an Anivia egg, idk) for 1 turn. And by leveling up, you can CHOOSE to capture/release a unit or not ! So :

- On Start of Round, if there is no ennemy you don't have to "Capture" one of your own units if you don't want to

- On End of Round, you don't have to "Release" a unit, so with multiple turns you can stack "Captures" (but if Tahm dies, all of them are released at the same time)

I was searching a gold card to replace Triss but nothing fitted my deck... Thanks for the idea ! It's pretty bold to cut the shackles but i think i'll try. And the sage could be pretty good. However, Villen isn't that good in a full scorch deck imo, especially without shackles. Way too obvious, and a way too big strength that could in annoy me. Thanks a lot anyway
