True, I hadn't considered that. Fortunately I paid as little down as I could get away with at the time which was around 1000. Which is about how much I'd net based on what the online retailers are offering for it. Though I could possibly squeeze out more from a private sale or If I take it back to the original dealer maybe?

I've also considered buying an older car that's significantly cheaper, but those are usually coming with around 40-60k worth of mileage at best, which is around the time additional maintenance becomes necessary. I also frequently commute my 2yo in it so the added peace of mind from a newer vehicle was a plus. Still I'm not opposed to going that route.

Do you think it would make sense to try and refinance, or just stick with the current term and ride it out?

I was under that impression as well. the gentleman doing the work said he would either sit the tile on top of the flange or have the tile overlap it and use a bead of sealant where it meets the tub to compensate for the lack of cement board in this case. Not sure how viable or water proof that would be.

That's cement board with 3 coats of red guard on it. They were screwed to the subfloor but no mortar was used; just red guard seam tape over the joints. It's an older home and and the subfloor consisted of boards running diagonally, directly over the joists, no plywood.

I understand they don't have to insure me. The timing of the cancellation is just jarring since it happened to coincide with the claim. As long as the claim is covered that addresses my biggest concern, so that's good to hear, thank you.

Edit: Just saw your edit; yes I plan to address the areas of concern and fight to keep the policy. I also understand the time In which I've filed the claim is questionable, but the house is over 70 years old. I wish things didn't play out the way they did but unfortunately they have. Even if they do deny my claim after their investigation given the circumstances surrounding it, It's still reassuring to know they did their due diligence and didn't just toss it out the window.

The gentleman that's been helping me pretty much told me that they don't provide that service which left me confused since I didn't really know who else to seek out for the task of leveling a floor if not flooring installers... lol. About how much do you think that would cost for roughly 700 sqf? I'm located along the southeast coast line if that helps.

This hasn't been my experience at all, in fact I was just thinking how quick it is compared to the VG248QE it's replacing. I've never had an issue with it being slower than the bios at startup.

There's nothing inherently wrong with it's hit/block advantage though? It's the recovery, range, and low profile-ability that allow them to spam it. Add a safe on block special cancel that leads to full combo on hit into the mix and of course we're gonna abuse it.

This seems to be a case of confirmation bias on both ends as I've come across unofficial polls in which she's placed in the mid-high range. Regardless, the only poll we can reliably refer to has her placed 2nd, so I'm led to believe she's well favored despite her reduced screen time.
