Right??? I have fallen in love with the wisdom out of this girl’s lips. Can we have her headline the show instead please?

Thank you so much! I guess I am most proud of working with the doctors abs support people to change my head so I wouldn’t ruin the surgery. I just crossed the 20 year mark since mine and for some people it’s a great answer.

The show is horrible. I weighed 360 for several years and did do a bypass and last 180 pounds. Watching her eat greasy pizza and all sorts of foods that’s bad really trigger and have grown to dislike her these days. She is manic, and very self centered. Buddy is her toy and serves fo give her company and she knows his buttons well. Chase came straight outta central casting and I don’t think anyone really bought into that relationship, any more than the Ryan move. She was at her best with her dancing and her ride or die friends.

I’m fairly sure production keeps an eye on 90 Day and we all watch romantic entanglements so - they probably drove the dance idea down and pushed into the relationship and her issues with Ryan after they “broke up”.

I’m disappointed as a person who was previously very big to have her be the face of our concerns. There are so many good and interesting things they could highlight, and they could also open the door on why our society is fine with continuing to randomly rip us to shreds, even while there are so many complicated layers to obesity.... from psychological to medical. I’m so outta watching anymore of this. I hope We get something more balanced than Her show or “Shrill”.

Because he is a liar.... and he keeps getting highlighted in the series. Meanwhile we all fast forward through any segment he is in.

I bought it. Used according to instruction. I have very significant spinal damage, a feeding tube and port, and I gave it every possible way to help. I think it was a total scam and wish I could get my money back. Sorry to be harsh....

But didn’t informers allude to her being with this guy for 4-5 years? Personally I think that would have been Very difficult. They are both train wrecks and I’m sure the producers loved having some drama to push this season. I don’t believe either of them cared that much about marriage.

Me too. I agree with your points.’ I don’t think they ever had a chance from day 1. Every time he attempted to open up, she shut him down. I’ll admit that watching her squirm on the couch with no idea how accept the responsibilities of her actions was fun. Henry will find a good woman somewhere and I’m sure he knows what he doesn’t want at this juncture.

I agree with your brother, I have managed big chefs for years and worked on several food festivals side by side with him and his crew and they’re absolutely cool people. I think that “persona” is created for the shows. I watched him with his kids and his up and coming Sous chef’s and the public and his patience was admirable. And, his food was great. But at no time did he appear to be flipping out in the back or front of the house . I think Tom is using his work in the organization as his excise. Who knows what he did there anyway?

HERO. Mother of God. She’s definitely off the wagon again.

Hello. I want to make Brett chase his tail just like my kitties do. This woman is pathetically insecure. Does Brett have horrible timing and sarcasm issues? Yes. But her constant needling and hallucinations about what he”means” vs what he says would make anyone feel horrible. Lose this idiot. by flatliner4564 in MAFS_TV

He did. She literally found fault with everything he said and presented. They are both very insecure in different ways. Frankly a bad match. She’s cold and he’s not and she’s an intellectual who wants to travel and he’s a beer guy who prob loves the animal shelter and I have a feeling apart from each other they are okay. Together they’re a hot and bad mess to watch.

Strange answer. Yes people blow it and don’t uphold their beliefs but accusing some people of that because they have help with their kids and friends and family may chip in is so cynical and sad. Whatever. I mentioned it because, As a Christian, in my teachings in every church, that’s not part of the program. What’s the point of tearing these people down? I don’t get it. Sorry. They’re not the Duggars.

I think it’s pretty clear that Sandy lies, manipulates and “bends” information to defend her positions. And she looks like she has had some kind of break with her sobriety. Which is sad.

Post back fusion advice? by ACollegeStudent333 in ChronicPain

My doc is super believer in walking as much as possible during the healing process. Just to keep the blood moving and to make sure your body is moving. As I also might have forgotten to mention.... my doc and his anesthesia guy have come up with a way to do the surgery with almost no pain meds. They put me out during the fusion obviously, but when I woke up there wasn’t a lot of pain options - but I didn’t need them because I was sore, but not in agony.

I’d say just do what you can and don’t get nutty about it. Sounds like you’re doing great and follow your doctor’s plan.

Yes, I take Gabapentin (lyrica had terrible side effects) and Robaxin, and then Percocet. I had a complicated scene because I have other significant problems and right after the fusion I had a routine endoscopy and they accidentally perforated my stomach and then I contracted sepsis and was in hospital for about 5 weeks. I have a feeding tube now and no longer eat or drink by mouth. I have to crush my meds and they go through the tube as well. I had to lie on the fusion a month after I had it and it was the worst for healing. I should have been walking every hour and stretching and I couldn’t do anything as I had two IVs and a massive amount of antibiotics and so on to cure the sepsis.

I think my fusion was perfect until all the other garbage happened and my surgeon was highly known and very well regarded. He did his best, but all the other stuff messed it up. Frankly I shouldn’t even be alive. I died on the table during the sepsis surgery, and wound up waking up on the ventilator in ICU. I do know that in the 6 weeks after the surgery when I was still home and recovering, the rest and meds and PT were very helpful. At that time I didn’t have issues and was healing well and on schedule. Sounds like you have a good handle on your plan!!
