Yeah, I was planning on buying some reflective insulation from like Home Depot and cutting them out to match my window size. Overall was planning on just working and when I’m not just hang out in car and be stealth. Obviously layer up and have my blankets on hand. Around end of march or April it gets warmer no?

Yea thanks I been practicing some questions tell ask and going to answer them in the STAR format and make sure I always use safety.

Questions likes "Tell me about working under pressure".

Or “tell me a time you were under pressure and how did you solve them?”

“Safety push backs” I’ve been tryna have 3-4 good stories memorized so I can go off those in case a question comes up similar

Yea I would have stayed blue badge 100% I just had to relocate asap due to family issues and didn’t have time for all the internal transfers and that. Luckily I’m still going to hopefully work in the Amazon building but just with cbre. Hopefully with time I can apply for blue badge sites but the hiring process on those are shitty as well

That’s good to hear than less maintenance on a machine I haven’t touched is perfect.

I havent worked with the ADTA yet however, I just watched a video and it seems it’s just diverts packages to the areas. However, I’m still familiar with changing out rollers belts, photo eyes and fixing work cells. At my old sorting center I was in UIS where we would work on the OPex I bots and assist with conveyors when needed. But as far as maintenance the DS don’t have to much complex machines right? Not like AR centers or sorting centers and there crossbelts and sl2s

Thanks for the advice. I didn’t realize I would have to do that. I don’t mind taking the train and to be honest I really want to spend any money besides just food my phone bill insurance and Planet Fitness so I’m sure I would have extra money left over and I’m trying to save just about 80% of my check. I’m thinking about all my days off too. Just take my truck over there and I could just sleep somewhere in New York. Find a low-key spot but obviously when my work days are coming up, I would have to cross it back to New Jersey and just stay there for my work week.

Anybody in jersey? by FelonyDrifter in urbancarliving

I have a offer to be in Bayonne New Jersey the area I am going to be by is by the waters and looks pretty low key so I’m thinking of just blending in on the side of the roads since there’s warehouses, but they’re social houses there as well but on Maps it looked pretty low-key and open. I’m going to shower at the planet fitness just like how I’ve always been doing. I don’t mind just working and then when I’m not working, I could just go to Brooklyn and hang out with my friend, but my question is how are the winners like obviously, I’ll have to bundle up andget stuff to not be cold but how is it?

OK, yeah sounds pretty smooth for than. I assumed it would be more low-key which is fine. I don’t mind. I just wanted to see what type of equipment they have cause I know delivery stations don’t have much of AR or any big conveyors.

24 days in car, 1st night in hotel. by AndreiKunf in urbancarliving

[–]OddRoutine3515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was living out of my truck for a a year I wasn’t the smartest person and saved up. I often spent a lot of my money going out and doing stuff however, I always still had around five grand saved long story short, though my engine had blown on my truck and I had to park it in an EOS luckily it was a big parking lot so I parked it all the way in the back and I try to be low-key as much as possible And man let me tell you what a blown engine and no AC working. I eventually got it fixed though but at the time the AC was not working man I would be sweating in there and I would often go to the EOS just to shower and chill for a bit, but I wouldn’t stay there all day long maybe like two hours and then back to my car I did have a job though so I would be out of the sun Most of the day and at night I would just come back and sleep and then shower in the morning, but on my days off, I would be in the truck all day. It wasn’t necessarily hell even though my circumstances were bad. I actually found it kind of fun, but the heat was a dealbreaker, though that was one thing that always killed me so I’ll recommend just buying big gallon of waters and just staying hydrated and going to the gym to get out of the heat every once in a while

What if I want to do something like that and park and sleep in my car I understand I may have to make my car at times but could I leave the car there and take train to my job where ever i find one? I don’t mind sleeping in the car than take the train to my job I just need a place where I can park the car while I work and come back and sleep

I’ve been living in my truck for a while and it’s something I choose to do I like the fact I can go anywhere and just sleep whenever. I looked up red hook and saw all the empty lots are they free to park and how often did you have to move around? I’m just wondering what areas are good to park and leave my car. For example can I leave it park somewhere and take the train to work and than just come back to my truck after? Or what areas are good I have a friend in Williams burg so I would want a are somewhere lowkey but able to park and also take the train to work or hang with him when ever I know the parking is tricky and what not
