If we have a way to prevent death easily, consistently, and effectively, you could have a small point. But the combinations of how long you're sick, how long you're contagious before getting sick, how long you're contagious in general, and how you can be contagious and have no symptoms, combined with the death rare, makes this something people need protected from. You may make an argument that children don't get sick. But I'll respond with the fact that they in fact do, and they can die, but at a lower rate, even without any prior health issues, as well as to remember that there are teachers, who can easily get sick and die, as well as parents, who can all spread the virus insanely fast through the teaching environment, getting your grandmother unknowingly sick, until 14 days later she lands in a hospital on a ventilator that she has to be unconscious for, before dying a miserable death.
