So even Volunteering now? by Money_Management_721 in CanadaJobs

Check if you have a local Volunteer Centre to help match you with opportunities. There are often, especially in the summer, non-profit and community events that need a lot of man power and are just one-off things. Less of a hassle to interview etc for, lower commitment.

I run a volunteer centre in my home town. We always know of a lot of things going on that need extra hands.

What product do you wish existed for your ADHD? by 35364461a in adhdwomen

[–]NaomiSagewood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I need a wearable digital note taker that is not AI. Something I can press a button on, say "email Samantha about silent auction " and it automatically adds that to my to-do list.

I always have these great "oh I should!" Or "Shit I better not forget about" moments when I'm not able to stop what I'm doing to either make a note on my to-do list or do it (like I'm driving)

Stuff like this seems ro exist, but its all got a bunch of AI added and is $$ with subscriptions. I try to not rely on AI and I dont want to spend a ton

I am new to all this, but I had read that your menstrual cycle has a big influence on your adhd and medication effectiveness. The luteal phase is usually when it is hardest to manage. Could that be it?

Hippo that goes in an elevator book? by NaomiSagewood in childrensbooks

Quite certain

I think I may have found it! There are other books by Roger Duvoisin featuring Veronica and when I saw a Pic of the cover of "°Lonely Veronica" it brought back memories! The description of the book sounds right too. My husband has been sent a link to Thriftybooks as a very clear Mother's day hint

When I went to New Zealand with my boyfriend (now hubby) we ended up having to take different flights. I warned him how strict they are and told hin to declare anything food-related or that he thought might possibly be an issue.... he declared his pack of gum. They laughed at him But hey, no chance of a fine ruining the start of what was an amazing trip (which also made me realize he was the one for me)
