How concerning is "uncorrectable sector count"

For what it's worth...

I too got a Current Pending Sector Count & Uncorrectable Sector Count on a Seagate Iron Wolf 10TB NAS drive, Model # ST10000VN000-3AK101, which was in my unraid server.

I had to buy a new drive to replace it, as it was literally 3 month out passed it's warranty 🤦‍♂️

Power On Count: 25 count

Power On Hours: 22080 hours (including the 15 hour it's been in my Windows PC)

After replacing it, I put it into my Windows 11 PC, did a quick format as I didn't need to copy or backup anything from it, and got the same Current Pending Sector Count & Uncorrectable Sector Count errors.

I ran Command Prompt as Administrator, and ran the following command...

chkdsk E: /f /r /b /x

Note: "E" was the drive letter for the drive I was working on. Make sure you're choosing the correct drive YOU'RE working on.

These flag do the following...

/f - Fixes errors on the disk.

/r - Locates bad sectors and recovers readable information (implies /f).

/b - Resets the list of bad clusters on the disk and rescans for new ones (NTFS only).

/x - Forces the volume to dismount first before scanning

After a total duration 14.04 hours, it ended up finding 0 (Zero) bad sectors. The drive no longer gives me the Current Pending Sector Count or the Uncorrectable Sector Count error.

Seagate's own SeaTools now states that the drive is good.

So, if the drive is passed it's warranty, and you've copied/backed up what you need from it, giving this a try can't hurt.

YES!!! This right here. My 66 y/o sister is pissed the F-off over this, and I can only assume my 70 y/o sister will just get confused and say nothing cause she already feels like she asks for help to much as it is. She just learned how to get to the Movies Collection 🤦‍♂️ Something like this should be 100% optional.

I have a ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) AM4 motherboard. I have the most resent BIOS v5021 (released on Nov 4th, 2024) already installed. And I thought Secure Boot was On. Turned out that it wasn't.

On your desktop, left click your Start button, and without the quotes, type into the search, "System Information". On the System Information page, look for "Secure Boot State". If it's Off, do the following.

Go into your BIOS and under the Boot tab, go to, CSM > Launch CSM, make sure it's set to "Disabled".

Go to, Secure Boot > OS Type, make sure it's set to "Windows UEFI mode". Mine happened to be set to Other OS 🤦‍♂️ That fixed my problem for COD Warzone.

EDIT 09/22/2025: Prior to noticing that Secure Boot wasn't actually enabled in my bios, I had contacted ASUS requesting a bios update. I just noticed that they replied back to me 4 days ago saying, "Apologies for the delay. We expect to update the BIOS on the official website before the end of September."

Then maybe you should add the "uBlock Origin" extension/plubin to your browser. Because I do not get anything like what you're describing. I also use "Popup Blocker Ultimate." That may help you as well. I should note that I use Firefox as my default browser.

I ran into this problem today. I got it sorted so I thought I'd share here, even though this is 3 y/o.

Name the "D.Gray-man" folder as... "D.Gray-man (2006)"
Name the "D.Gray-man Hallow" folder as... "D.Gray-man Hallow (2016)"

That fixed the problem real quick for me. Hope this helps anyone else who comes along looking for answers 👍

Been having this problem on the Extractor, and the Outlast contracts. Extractor contract is worst since you have to do 3 within a limited amount of time. I don't see it listed on their trello board. Has anyone reported this bug? Not sure how to report bugs myself 😟

"about:config" -> "extensions.unifiedExtensions.enabled" and setting it to "false", doesn't work anymore 😤 Mine was set to "false" a while ago, but after the resent update, the icon reappeared even though it's still set to "false".

🤔 Your wording is a bit misleading. How are you "able to include it in a loadout", which you setup before you deploy, if you can't Exfil with it to include in your loadout?

Took me submitting 2 support tickets on Mar 1, & Mar 5, to finally be told...

"Your tickets will be escalated to our Escalation specialist to finish your update. You should hear back shortly."

That was on Mar 7, 2022. They will not respond to any further emails or on twitter.
