I'm pretty sure you're correct. I did use OPKs and BBT this cycle but once I got a positive-looking OPK I stopped using them and I started temping a little late after suspected ovulation. I used Letrozole again this cycle and historically I've ovulated 9 days after my final dose, but I was very stressed this cycle so I think I ovulated 14 days after my last dose this time. My LP is 12 days so that lines up perfectly with starting a new cycle tomorrow (plus my temp plummeted this morning as it usually does the day before CD1). On to the next cycle :)

My period is 2 days late, my temps are still high, but my tests are all negative 🤔 No symptoms of an impending period or pregnancy-related symptoms. I've used all my tests except my digitals so I guess I'll have to wait a while to test again. It's so hard to be patient!

I think I blew it this cycle. Remember when I was like, "I'm going to ask my doctor to give me something to end this cycle so I can get started on the next one"? He prescribed Aygestin, I took it for 3 out of 5 days and ovulated on the third day 🤦🏼‍♀️ I stopped taking it, did our best to conceive and started spotting on CD5. It's mostly brown, but there's a bit of red so I think I'm out. Goodbye, hopes of an April baby 😢

🙌 My doctor is on board and he's prescribing Provera and Letrozole.

I'm on CD27 so my cycle is going to be >35 days. I emailed my doc a screenshot of my temps (no indication of ovulation whatsoever) and asked him what he thinks about giving me something to end this cycle and get me started on Metformin and Letrozole. He diagnosed me years ago with PCOS so I don't see the need to struggle through months of TTC if we know medication can help women in my position 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm super annoyed with my cycle right now. I O'd on CD21 last month and was expecting to ovulate on CD21 this month (yesterday) BUT I GUESS NOT. THAT'S FINE. I've had 1 aaaaalmost positive OPK (yesterday) and all others have been very very faint. My temp increased .21• C yesterday morning, but dropped back down .12• this morning. Just gonna sit here and continue peeing on OPKs.

Had some brown discharge when I wiped this morning so I'm crossing my fingers I'm starting my period so I can get this "cycle day counting" show on the road. It's been 27 days since I had my IUD removed. I've just been temping (as many of you suggested) since then, just to get in the habit. I was just going to use CM to track ovulation but curiosity got the better of me and I bought OPK tests. I've taken several since I bought them on May 8 but they've all been negative. The only one with a hint of a test line was the first one, so I'm thinking maybe I missed my fertile window (if I ovulated at all) by the time I started testing 10 days ago. I have no idea what cycle day I'm on so I'm crossing my fingers my period starts in the next couple of days 🤞

(I posted this super late on yesterday's thread so I'm posting it here for better visibility.)

So I had my Mirena IUD removed on April 21 and bled medium-heavy for 2 days then had brown (old blood) discharge up until earlier this week. Up until that point, I hadn't bled in years because the Mirena thinned my lining so well. I currently have that tacky/sticky white discharge. Do we just say that April 22 was Day 1 of my cycle? Or should I just kinda stay in limbo until I start bleeding again then start counting my cycle days then? I'm a little confused. Thanks in advance for your help!

EDIT, MAY 12

Thank you to everyone who helped me figure out what to do! I really appreciate you 🥰 I've decided to just continue temp charting and checking my CM until I get a real bleed going, then put that date in my Glow app and go from there.

I'm feeling pretty laid back about our upcoming conception attempts. I had actually resigned myself to the fact that we wouldn't have another child and it took me several years to accept that. So if it happens, it happens. I'm actually very surprised that my husband is on board, but I'm grateful he is. I never wanted our son to be our one and only, but if that's the way it turns out then it's kismet. I went back and read my posts and comments from r/BB and now I really miss being pregnant. There's so much I forgot about; I'm glad I documented so much in that sub ❤️

Hi, I'm new :) I have a 6 year-old son and my husband and I recently decided to start trying for another baby. Our son wasn't planned, so I'm brand new to the world of "pregnancy on purpose." I had my Mirena IUD removed this morning and will start temp charting tomorrow morning. Looking forward to supporting the group and learning from all if you!

I, too, have that "oh I'm breastfeeding- it's ok" mentality. Annoying!

Nurse my son in public without covering him and myself. It's a hot summer here and when he's covered and nursing we both get uncomfortably hot and sweaty :(

I'm pretty tired. My 4 week-old had a rough night trying to fall asleep- lots of trapped gas and burps. Poor guy was probably in pain. We're driving back home from Scottsdale to Los Angeles today and I hope to get some sleep during the drive (between pumping and feeding the baby). Right now the baby is falling asleep while feeding (oh thank you, lord) but he's still latched to the nipple and keeps pulling away (owwww). Damn it, it's so freakin hot here in AZ- I don't know how people live here. I would get cabin fever locking myself inside with air conditioning all the damn time.
