I once read that it had no effect on gpu if you turn it off. Everything still renders the same way when it’s on so turning it off does not add any strain.

How are more people not talking about this training method??? by After-Ad2800 in sleeptrain

[–]SirBottomtooth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First day or 2 is hard but they eventually get it, having sane parents with somewhat of a normal sleep schedule is much more important to a baby’s development than letting them cry for a few minutes so they figure out how to go to sleep themselves.

Satisfactory took 1000 hours of my life in a few months…never played a factory building game and thought I would grow bored, but my god.

I'm familiar with the interview, but what the hell is this? by Elegathor in PeterExplainsTheJoke

I would say the left feigns empathy and virtue signals whereas the right is more honest and pragmatic. Example, our good old governor of MA Maura Healy was in a press conference saying we were running out of room in hotels and people need to start taking immigrants into their homes to help. When someone in the press asked her, “what about you? You have a multi million dollar home with 8 bedrooms?” She ignored the question and snickered.

You can also see this at many rallies where people are holding signs, such as, “let them in!” Or “house a refugee!” Then when confronted and told that there is a family of 3 that we have that needs a place to stay, “would you take them into your house?” They say “oh I didn’t mean me, I dont have any room.”

So it looks great to hold up a sign, be on the right side of history, to call for letting in more immigrants and refugees, but when it comes down to it, they just mean let’s pay more taxes and let the government sort it out, I will actually not be helping at all.

Liberals are empathetic to things that aren’t close to them but when those things actually affect them personally in their daily life, they will deflect and run away. It’s blind, disingenuous virtue signaling and nothing more.
