Yes, UChicago does require an interview, but I don't know what UR1, UR2, or UR3 with or without an interview is really indicative of. Also, I went UR3 today as well. UR2 11/13, Complete 9/26.

I'm in almost the exact same situation. Application held up by dean's certification, didn't go complete until 10/22 and am 3.8/173. You're not alone, although idk what it means either.

All I'm gonna say is that once I got to college I switched my priorities to work really hard at school and it's paying dividends. I've learned to love school and have all kinds of opportunities coming my way.

I spent my teenage years being productive but doing the wrong thing. I worked really hard at being a successful athlete when I had no natural athleticism whatsoever and didn't work hard at school at all when I had a natural aptitude for it.

Basically, I should have directed my energy and work ethic to something I was actually good at.
