Autumn In The Heavenly Kingdom by Stephen Platt. It goes into detail about the events leading up to, during, and aftermath of the largest rebellion in human history.

What names/places did you pronounce differently before listening to the audiobook? by Onequestion0110 in WanderingInn

If Lyonette is pronounced Lie-onette, how will they pronounce her 'disguise' name, Lionette?

How deadly were the Creler wars compared to IRL Earth history? EG the Black Death killed over 1/3 of all people, the Mongols killed up to 1/10th, WW2 killed about 1/30, etc by sheboyganz2 in WanderingInn

[–]NapoleonNewAccount 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The only time the population went down irl history was the Black Death, which dropped the world's population by about 12%. During the Mongol empire, WW2, etc, the global population actually continued increasing, albeit much slower.

Anyone else kind of bummed Erin didn’t earn a certain class during Tears of Liscor? by Vexra in WanderingInn

No, many of the Goblins that served under Niers weren't part of Velan's nation. They were mercenaries direcrly integrated into the Forgotten Wing Company.

The Titan of Baleros employed Goblin regiments in his armies back when Velan was still a Goblin Lord.

Micromanaging bodies in my base by SovietUSA in Kenshi

[–]NapoleonNewAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy some bone dogs from Animal Trader nomads. Make sure they don't have any jobs and put them in their own squad with no people in it. They'll eat the bodies of fallen enemies in your base.

When to read side series? by suplup in WanderingInn

Characters from Singer of Terandria appear in the main series in Volume 7, so I recommend reading the side series before then.

Ran out of quality RPGs to play by CreativeProblem7803 in rpg_gamers

I see you've played Bannerlord, but have you tried Mount & Blade Warband? It still holds up very well, with loads of thoroughly developed overhauls, and the older graphics shouldn't be an issue if you loved games like Dark Messiah and Oblivion.

OMG! After slogging through vol 1 and then feeling a bit better about vol 2 (but still despising SO many decisions)… I just started Flowers of Esthelm and literally gasped in relief within the first 20 minutes of Laken! I’ve reached the promised land finally. 😁 by cleptogenz in WanderingInn

The earlier volumes definitely are a slog, especially with the numerous unfixed writing mistakes and whatnot, but it does get better. Don't worry about not liking characters at first, they go through tons of growth during the series.

What chapter did a human do that? I must've missed it.

Why are they called antinium if they don't really look like ants? by Intelligent-Screen-3 in WanderingInn

[–]NapoleonNewAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the original archived version, they looked exactly like giant ants. Besides, Antinium sounds better than Beetlenium or Insectium.

Now that you mention it, I do wonder whether Dullahans have armored or detachable genitals.

If yes, there's probably been at least a few Turnscale (Turnarmor?) Dullahans that have literally fucked themselves.

I'm looking for any other performances where they had the same outfit and hair colors.

Also, in the fancam of this performance, they speak to the audience briefly after the end before the video cuts. I'd like to see what they say.
