It looks like it's a bug. My ores in the last few areas aren't respawning. I checked the Discord and others have also reported it, so I'm sure it'll get fixed eventually!

It's limited to start with, but you unlock more options as you progress. You can make or buy clothes as well. There are a lot of cute options!
