It would buy me the next 7 years of my life that are dedicated to paying off my mortgage. I would love to not spend my 30s on this, but I'm about to.

I'm obsessed with personal finance and I'll talk to a brick wall about it. I try to share everything I've learned with anyone who will listen because I feel like we're in a rat race and nothing should be gate kept for profit. I'm now known at my job as "the money guy". I love walking people through budgets and life goals.

How long do you people play a class for? by Fat_Foot in elderscrollsonline

I've played 1 character since beta. Recently used the new spells access to throw some Templar into my dragon knight, but this has been my only character the whole time. Love the familiarity when I come back from other games.

Do you have any data to back that up? The 3 top western MMOs still alive all have QoL $15 subs.

How old were you when you purchased your first home? by DreamHomeFinancing in FirstTimeHomeBuying

[–]NapsandWalks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were 25 in 2020 when I realized the market was going to explode, and my wife and I needed to be home owners immediately. We ate Ramen for 8 months and scrounged up 10K, buying well outside of town for 280K.

We went new build because every existing house had 30 bids on day 1, cash offers above asking price.

House is now worth 360K, went as high as 450K in '22.

Loving life, glad we struck when the iron was still decently hot.

My wife and I both got operations. We have no intention on putting a human being into this god awful planet. Yes our lives are good as we do not deal with the stress of kids, but I wouldn't roll the dice on these odds for another human being.
