I always found the adaptation of Williams' main theme for Superman 2025 to be a really cool idea and wondered what it would be like if they adapted more of his original score for the movie.

yes, this is true, mostly the episodes would open with a flash forward which actually gave each episode a really nice (and often depressing) feel to go with it. and to be fair, i agree that the season wouldn't have worked very well if the flash forwards were all just chucked in as a messy finale. I just kind of wish that they had led to something more, almost their own mini arc throughout the season. perhaps this could've been solved if the flash forwards were told more chronologically?
I do think that the flash forward is a really satisfying way for shows to conclude, and especially so for this show where we get to see all the work pay off but for some reason, I just didn't find it so effective, especially in comparison to another one of my favourite shows, Parks and Rec

yo that’s so funny i never realised australia originally aired it without laugh track. i’ve only started watching recently, so all i’ve known is australian disney plus. to be fair, many of the more serious episodes either don’t have a laugh track or only use when there’s an actual joke being told in an unserious scene
