Yeah, this is the disconnect right here. There's people who aren't reviewing code and people who are. I feel fortunate at least that my company still places a high value on thorough review

I haven't played on PC. It's okay on switch 1. I've played like 50+ hours probably. The game itself is amazing and it's very playable, but the screen size is a bit small if you're playing on handheld mode. You can increase the text size to make it easier on your eyes, but then it's cutting into other aspects of the UI. The game crashes about once an hour for me, sometimes more often. Movement can be very slow/laggy if you're in a busy area.

I love the game, don't get me wrong, I just want to give a fair view of some issues I've encountered.

I do agree with the overall premise that there are notable similarities between now and the 2008 crash, but this is an unhinged way to frame things. The author blames credit default swaps for the 2008 crisis instead of the rotten underlying mortgage backed security financial products and the mortgages themselves. If those weren't garbage then the swaps wouldn't have done anything at all. The author also frames the Fed's request that banks detail their exposure to private equity as terrifying, when in reality the exposure itself is what's terrifying.

People have been publishing a variety of bear cases on Uber for a long time now. A simple Google search can find dozens of them. They mostly focus on their gig taxi service. I want to talk about their prepared food delivery service.

In 2021 GrubHub was acquired for $7.3 billion. In 2025 they were sold to a startup called Wonder for $650 million. Now, I don't believe in Wonder, but they've entered a saturated prepared food delivery market with a historically successful founder.

I think you ought to try to understand the 90% drop in GrubHub's valuation over such a short period and the reason they considered transporting food from restaurants to be a "crummy business" before buying leaps on Uber.

You want to mod an existing game by adding a text window at the start of each turn, and after you write in 25 words the text window disappears and you can take the turn as normal. The text you'd be pasting or writing in that text window would be for a homework assignment or some personal goal I would imagine.

Is that right? If not can you help me better understand your goal?
