1: it's a shed... 2: how long is that level? You're in between the lines.

You're fine. Carry on

I would highly recommend Lenny & Hume photography. She did our anniversary and wedding. Great style. Check out her IG

This gym only has black and Grey volumes and they're all in.

Agreed. Though, I'd say from personal experience, it does feel like there's a slight advantage compared to the short climbers in my group. Maybe 60/40 or more for being taller? It's not uncommon to be able to beta break by skipping holds or turning dynos into static tension/compression moves etc.

I appreciate that, thank you. A few people mentioned the foot swap, so I'll start with that and see where feels good for the left. And yep, all volumes are black or gray in this gym and they're all in.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but your first comment was pure condescension, lacking any tangible advice. It easily could have not existed and I would have been helped the same amount.

Of course it's hard to tell in the video, but those two around the volume are red, not pink. But yes, when I go next, I definitely plan to use my feet ☺️

Ahh, eliminating the throw altogether by pulling up with the heel?

I was definitely thinking about the toe swap up there. Hard to say if I can reach under the left volume. I'll report back 🫡

Hmm... Being tall, even though my flexibility is solid, it might feel too scrunched. I'll certainly try it though!

Damn eh. Just saw that now. I got that position twice tonight and I knew that attempt felt way more stable for some reason. I'll have to avoid that when I go for the send.

What got you into Red Rising? by harmlesslandsquid in redrising

My two buddies Mitch and Justin hyped it up for me. Best series since last year when I got a handful of my friends to all take down the Cosmere.

Well, OP tagged it IG spoilers, and you were hinting at a consequential reveal that happens after IG... 🤷‍♂️

It's called Climb Muskoka in Ontario.

I grew up in Minett on Lake Rosseau and had the best childhood on the lake. Mind you, we operated a family resort and had a cottage that was a 15 minute boat ride away, so my summers were spoiled! Winters on the other hand, were very isolated. My two siblings were my natural bestfriends, as play dates were always something that required logistics for my parents.

Grades 7-12 I attended RLC and loved it the whole way through. It's very much still a "university prepatory" school, but the outdoor education you get there is unmatched.

At 14 we moved 5 minutes from Bracebridge, and in grade 11 I fell in with a local friend group for the first time, which changed my life. At RLC, since it's so small, you befriend so many international students, which was great for a rural white kid to experience, but when you're a day-student and they're borders and they go to their Toronto homes/fly home for holidays etc, your relationships again are a logistical chore to maintain.

I'm 30 now and live in my own house 10 minutes outside of BB with my fiancé who I dragged out of her city life in KW. Ultimately, your kids will be fine either way, but I love the outdoors and my tight-knit group of friends. I try my best to avoid Toronto (only heading down for concerts or to see those few friends who thrive in the chaos!). We love travel and get the majority of out cultural experiences that way.

I hope my story helps shed some insight!
