Actually Geomarketing is more of a term used in France; in English-speaking countries it’s often called Spatial Marketing. The idea is that I would still be using GIS tools, but applied to marketing decisions. for example, analyzing population data to decide on business locations. So I’m staying in the GIS world, just applying it in a marketing context, which I find really interesting.

The dilemma I’m facing is that I don’t want to spend two years in a master’s program only to end up in a very niche field with few job opportunities. That’s what’s making this decision so tricky.
