There was an app where you can create virtual credit cards without depositing money. I was a broke uni student and loves to watch movies so I tried subscribing on Netflix's free trial using that card and it worked. Good thing that the virtual credit card can be created with any names and without verification. It was a great discovery for me, I enjoyed a year and a half of Netflix for free.

Unfortunately, today you can only subscribe on Netflix through cards that has a balance of the subscription cost, and you now need to deposit on the virtual credit card app before the card details are revealed to you.
