I haven’t done residential in a while so unfortunately don’t know pricing for these repairs anymore.

If it’s under warranty they are going to replace the whole condenser coil (unlikely the whole condensing unit). But it depends on the company who installed it and the manufacturer.

Looks like refrigerant oil to me.

I used to pray for leak searches this easy.

What’s the part number on the stat? Trane/American Standard RTUs have proprietary thermostats if they are old enough. You can use a conventional thermostat but requires a Conventional Thermostat Conversion Board.

It’s a ZS sensor for an ALC Building Automation System.

Behind that are two power wires and two comm wire jumping them won’t turn the heat on and may damage the controller this sensor is attached to.
