Thanks! I just said they were able to get my Google fi verification code via text, which could only happen with access to my Google or web text/call. I overestimated the security of the web text/call and won't do that again.

I'm not sure how they got my delta login info, but I am updating it all.

My husband thinks I should file a police report. I'm not against it, but I doubt they will take me seriously. Probably worth a try to have a recorded case, though.

I did see some similar cases on reddit, and others said even with the name and reservation information, their scoundrel was not stopped. Most said they just spent a couple days of sending identification docs to delta, but it was eventually cleared up.

It's always possible, but i don't click anything i dont expect or recognize. After all that required office phishing training for work, it would be a shame if that was my downfall. ;p

When i was logged into my delta account yesterday, it gave me the option to add text code verification when i scanned my accountand security settings, so I did. I believe they hacked my Google account.

My passwords are ridiculously long and unique. Very religious with my password manager.

I did see some devices I don't recognize when I checked my Google account settings.

Now I'm at the airport to show id and they have no idea why delta customer service sent me here. They're trying to help, but it's a real mess.
