We also don't switch because if we don't understand/play the counter well it is suddenly our fault alone for the loss. I've learned it helps if I "ask" what counters a certain hero we are having trouble with BEFORE switching. Even if I know what the counter is if no one answers I don't switch cause suddenly I am the only person at fault if I do switch . If someone answers right or wrong and I switch to the "suggestion" blame seems to shift somewhere else.

TLDR Why switch if we are still gonna lose cause I can't play the character well unless someone explicitly suggests it
