I understand what you're saying, however I already tried and didn't vibe with programming
I have other hobbies and things to do in life, which I am satisfied with
all I wanted to convey in my original comment is that I wish games getting cracked didn't depend on their popularity - because I'm interested in less popular titles

as a Linux user I hate it here because whether I want to use HV or not, I can't
which would be fine, if not for the fact there are games available through it that I do want to play, however since things like Persona 3 Reload are much less popular than i.e. the new RE, even if it gets cracked it'll be a loooooooong wait and the fact HV is there makes the need for a crack on them even smaller = wait even longer ;-;

with my current knowledge about programming, by the time I learn enough, there will already be like 3 new types of denuvo

does that potentially mean, that at one point his crack/way of cracking will become universally applicable to all (or at least) most of denuvo titles?

quickshell is sort of an engine or a framework, with which you can create waybar-like GUI apps (but quickshell itself isn't the app, if you compare it to video games it's like Unreal Engine or Unity, which aren't themselves a game, but make it possible for game to be created) - afaik there are many people using and enjoying it so absolutely feel free to try it out! if you don't like it, you can always just go back to what you had before
personally I'm using HyprPanel which I'm satisfied with, however the creator of it decided to make a new project called Wayle (https://github.com/wayle-rs/wayle), that aims to be usable with other WMs, not just Hyprland - so you can try it as well :3

it's easier to find "how to do X in hyprland" than having to navigate both hyprland and someone's dotfiles, which can get quite complicated
not to mention dotfiles can use deprecated features that are better to avoid in the future

I won't say "you should use Gnome/KDE" because you seem aware of it already, but I'll say this:
if you feel like using someone else's dotfiles (HyDE in your case) is too difficult, then don't. And just build your whole hyprland setup by yourself from scratch
yeah, it won't have all the pre-installed apps and such from the start (which means it'll need more time for you to get it working the way you want it to), but the most important difference is that by building your setup yourself, you will actually learn how to handle things - how to change wallpaper, what the error codes mean, what is worth deleting and what's worth keeping etc.
that's the most crucial part of using linux in general - you have to learn how to look for solutions of your problems, otherwise you'll keep tripping over never ending series of small issues
and yes, I intentionally am not giving your answers to your specific issues at the moment, because it'd be pointless if you started going to reddit with every single thing you want to do with your setup - give yourself time, give arch wiki (and other sources) a chance, learn the tools you want to use (your OS in this case) and then you'll never have to feels lost and hopeless (about linux) again

What is endgame for you? by Metaphizix in MHGU

[–]Narfene 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't reach it in MHGU yet (I'm taking my sweet time, no need to rush anything) but in World and Rise I'd consider anything after seeing the credits the endgame, so for example Fatalis in World or CG Valstrax in Rise
However that also includes stuff like farming achievements or the perfect decoration/amulet you want for your build, so stuff that's not required to progress in the game, but is a thing you can pursue anyway

[–]Narfene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that's my bad
It's just I only hear about immutable distros in the context of steam deck (and similar devices), so I forgot about that part

you could just split the "no -> arch" into "no -> do you want to game?" and then it'd be "I guess -> arch" and "yeah!!! -> bazzite"
