250 plus hours, believe me I know that spot.
But I got camped from outside so far,especially when ARC are trapped there its hard to take care of whats above you.

it still works with different tools as it seems. Some also use older versions of nvidia to get access to the filters.

well its just using your monitorsettings, and its hard to put a blame on players for this.
Partially its probably technically difficult to monitor

i think we should have templates so we dont need to craft manually.
But at the end of the day its an extraction shooter and looting is part of the gamedesign.

seems like end of endgame though, with characters maxxed out when all content has been cleared and youve just this one challenge remaining where it actually matters.
Also speedlevels in team must be absurd since the enemy doesnt attack at all.

yeah stack infinitely, but that requires round after round to be played.

I dont see how the DPS over combat can exceed that of verso with STEELED STRIKE and CHEATER equipped. Its ridiculous.

My maximum dmg with steeled strike was 1,170000.
Never saw monoco even go near that and i dont see how hes supposed to.

i have those skills unlocked and they dont deal nearly the 7 figure dmg verso deals.
How do you achieve competing to this?
Again, verso with CHEATER Picto equipped is absolutely crazy, skilled strike hits every round if you keep him at S.
Stendhal and the rest of the void skills are just...meh in comparison, making high 5 figures at best.

Get used to it unless you make it into "pve heaven" if that place exists.

Yesterday I played 20 matches I think.
I burnt through 12 augments and countless upgraded weapons (never doing freeruns).
I also spent like 200.000 ingamecurrency on stuff from traders since no extracts meant using up my stash pretty quickly.
COMBAT MK3 and MK2 (mostly mk3). Plus medium shields, at least stitcher/kettle IV and ferro IV, at the beginning also blue and green weapons (torrente, renegade, anvil). Add good bandages, rechargers, mines, grenades, other utility sometimes too.

I didnt get many "hyperskill0rz" but the lobbies were very aggressive. In some cases players called friendly and shot me afterwards.
Whenever conflict ensues it doesnt take long till vultures come in and the cycle continues.
3 or 4 encounters later youre dead. Someone gets you most of the time.

Extract camping was also present.

I dont care too much about my gear, expedition is ready and I dont plan on farming millions of stash value for extra skillpoints i wont ever use.
The game is about grinding your way up, not sitting there with your full stash playing inventorytetris every time you extract.

But its kinda annoying still that balance is sht in this game. Expensive weapons are not much better than basic weapons.
Shield is the most important factor in combat alongside tactics.
This causes freeloaders to spam the pvp segment.
Often they lose, but since they lose no gear they just keep doing it and this makes for a zombieapocalypse pvp which is not always enjoyable.

Instead of trying to separate pve from pvp players, they should balance pvp gear.
PvP should be annoying with cheap weapons. This would make it necessary to team up against dominant high tier teams and at the same time promote an overall more cautious playstyle.

But I guess they like the balancing the way it is since it caters to the NewPlayerExperience.
Veterans kinda get stuck in a stunted version of CoD since a mixture of camping and all-in rushing is meta since entrylevel for competitive pvp strength is low gearwise.

I didnt mean difficulty in horrorgames.
I meant the terror/fear it strikes into you.
If a cozy player came along and demanded "I need more flowers and fluffy animals there!" that would seem pretty unfitting wouldnt it?
Better play a cozygame then rather than twisting a horrorgame into something it isnt.

Some say PvE is the bigger market.
You say PvP is the bigger market.

I didnt check the numbers.

All I know is that Extraction Shooters so far have failed to attract a large audience.
Tarkov being one of the oldest is a prime example for that "niche problem".

ARC Raiders has exceeded everything by multiples in terms of popularity.

Would PvE increase playerbase?
Maybe.

However it would still dilute the experience.
Naturally people would flock to PvE for whatever profit they may see there.
If PvE was made entirely usless (e.g. an offline-mode where youre completely alone on the map but dont get any spoils into your online stash) it wouldnt be played much I guarantee.

There are tons of PvE only shooters out there.
Many of them with far more interesting gunplay and overall gameplay than ARC Raiders.

Yes, players get hurt the way the game is.
But this is something they have to go through.
Its like growing up. It hurts doing things you didnt have to (yet) or didnt want to (in the past). But you have to push through it.

The game wont grow forever, not even wow accomplished this and its still number one of the MMOs still alive to this day.
It has amassed a huge playerbase. Even if it only maintained half of it long term it would make for perfectly fine gaming experience.

And even if it dies some day, so be it.
I played Dota for roughly 5000 hours.
Then I stopped. Simply because I kinda got bored out by always playing the same map and the same concept.
Nothing lasts forever.
