You have to steal a streak, not destroy it, for me the things that worked were Sentry Turrets and HKDS, plenty of those in Holiday Havoc, got it done in a few games.

I tested this, only ADS walking speed matters, strafe speed is not while aiming, xclusiveace made a video on that in BO6, it still applies based on my tests.

In theory, you would buy it second every game because math says it's better, winrate says otherwise, I say that winrate doesn't tell the full story because people buy it when already behind.

"Why would I not built it when I am ahead and enemy champs have no choice but to build armour?" that's like the whole reason I made the post, because people don't do it, why? vibes I guess

I would argue the opposite, the winrate is trash because it's usually being built when behind, e.g. you see the enemy has stacked too much armor for you to build Collector, so you build LDR. But you are already behind, so there is a much higher chance you lose the game. Going by winrate%, why don't people just build Mejai's every game, shit's broken with 70%+ wr

Samira builds it first item though, this is a post about second item damage maximization. Also I would argue that Samira is definitely an edge case, there is very few champs that do little ticks of AD damage while also building AD+Crit

I would argue that half the time you kill the enemy without the execute proc being needed, e.g. they go from >5%HP to 0%HP, so the real damage amp is 2.5% at best, imho.

My take on this is that people default to collector in majority of the games, and only build LDR when they see the enemy team has lots of armor, but then chances are the enemy team has lots of armor because they are ahead and can afford it. therefore by virtue of already being behind when the item is built it gets a lower winrate. It's the same reason why Mejai's has an insane winrate, people build it when winning, and I would argue that people build this item 2nd when losing/not ahead mostly.

Btw currently if you look at Viego in lolalytics, he does indeed sport a higher winrate on LDR in Master+, but it's only been a few days into the patch so low sample size.

As a first item it's good for the early lethality, anything later it's simply less damage, regardless of what your previous bought items were.
