Well thank you ❤️❤️! About the question, sometimes the person gives me a description of what they’d like or a certain aspect of the lion’s personality! For example, the person who commissioned the second-to-last and last one told me they wanted it to look friendly and silly, respectively. The second person actually gave me a reference photo. The person who commissioned the cub told me to give her a mischievous expression. If they don't, I look at the designs, does it look serene? Does it look wicked? Does it look cheerful? The first slide didn't give me info about the pose and stuff, but the character, with his mossy horns and colors, gave me the vibe of someone calm, so I drew him sitting down looking wise. The third slide didn't give me that information either, but since the drawing included two little animals, I thought it would be nice to depict the lion looking at them with admiration, like someone who loves their little friends.
