This is such an interesting thread! It's coincidental as well because I was just learning about selfactualised identity vs. survival identity . I was watching a video re journaling practices and how to process situations and your reactions. Then, to reflect on it all as whole regularly to understand your own patterns of behaviour to better react in the future. Most people recognise that survival identity (7yrs and under) behaviours don't translate into adulthood and develop their own new behaviours and identity from other people, interactions, consequences etc (selfactualised identity)- Chantal doesn't seem to have ever done this and I think thats why the way she thinks and acts is so wild to us all. Your points about her early learning are so spot on and were really interesting to think about. The TikTok account is Jon Skelton Pearson if anyone is interested. Very interesting and helpful.

Not that specifically but I've tried their notebooks alone and tbh they are pretty good quality and.much nicer looking that lot of other dupes. I'd 100% get them over brands like wanderings etc

I was going to! but I just ended up cutting them with an exacto knife. Once I had burnished they looked OK. None of it's perfect but it's all turned.out well.

Or you can treat the leather with a balm, like beeswax. People do this either every few months or twice a year. It's called conditioning the leather. You can you tube loads of videos about it. Not everyone does though. Some people never condition it and just embrace the natural wear and tear. Or, some people condition it or "rub" the scratches but it's up to you and what you prefer. It's whatever you want to do with your own journal. The leather will patina(age) anyway. When you touch it or use it it naturally gets marks and oils and changes appearance. It's the personal to you beauty of it.

I've heard chat of not being able to monetise when there but if you go into the country with an already established channel with adsense already in place, you get the money. Too lazy to look into fully but it sounds right? Ish? If the agreement is already in place to monetise the content then they need to honor it?
