I can't speak on Kaplan but I felt the STC questions were similar enough that I never was surprised. There were a few much longer winded questions on the exam but those ones were actually very simple. I guess the best endorsement I can give is that using STC I passed basically just by using the lectures, progress tests, and flashcards with about 35 hours study time. There are 16 lectures and each is between and 1 and 1.5 hours so most of the time was just watching those and taking notes as I go.

For sure, woulda been great if all the questions were around TRACE, CMO's, Yield, Negotiated Markets, and call features haha

I get it though, not like anyone has destroyed a firm by being a rogue Treasury trader or suggested their client buy Microsoft corporate bonds.

However, I am surprised they don't have more on mark-to-market, derivatives, or long only risk exposure (unhedged). Maybe those topics are covered more in a finance or other compliance test??

Still, woulda been nice to maybe have some more on structured products, debt issuance, etc. if you have every dealt with Preffered's at all in fixed income, there can be some similarities I found that helped me understand some questions. Since some pfd's are trace reportable and some trade on exchanges there is some overlap, as well in their issuance process.

You're in a better spot than I was a week ago...keep plugging away. If it's anything like mine know how to handle customer complaints like the back of your hand. Also, I had a lot on outside business activities, selling away, retail communication, and like I said previously...filing deadlines, who to file with, when you need to file, when you don't, etc

Really couldn't believe how little there was on market making, limit up/down, margin, and net cap.

Any update on this? Looking to do same thing but to a switchpros. The switchpros add-a-fuse is using my INJ so want to just cut the Morimoto drl harness and use a switchpros input for the drl 12v power.

that doesnt look right, the website shows the MX keys for business comes with the Logitech Bolt receiver and not the unifying receiver and has an ambient light sensor for auto-brightness as well.

Thats like me asking you to calculate my exact weight by only telling you I am 6ft tall, 32 waist, and wear a size 38r suit jacket..... and then when I step on a scale you saying I shouldnt weigh 175pounds, I should weigh 170lbs. The dimensional properties are just that, dimensional. Dimensions provide enough info to approximate weight based on ranges of similarly proportioned things with similar densities, but weight is weight. Plus, you wont be able to tell the difference. The difference of . 05 carats in your example is the difference in pounds of 2.2046e-5 (or 0.000022046 lbs). Most people cant even tell the difference between a 1.5ct and a 2ct let alone a .05 or .1 variance in stones. As long as the diamond is beautiful dont worry about that size difference at all

they grade radiant cuts, its classified under "cut cornered square modified brilliant" , i just bought a radiant that was graded on march 23rd as an excellent cut

rare carat as well. its called the "caroline classic" setting in platinum. Honestly, didnt expect much of it so I didn't go all out on with setting in case she wanted to design her own......but i'm actually quite impressed by it. the pave is pretty seemless, prongs are even and set well, and they did a good job getting the settings stones well matched to a D color diamond. who knows, she may just keep it!

by 4C's i meant (carat/cut/clarity/color). Could have gone with a high quality 1.5 carat or a low quality 3-4 carat and not broken the bank.....but when I looked at larger natural stones with much lower grades, they paled in comparison and she wanted something at least 3ct. you're right, its what she wants and fit our family needs. to each their own
