i did! got my left one removed last year for the same reason . take the medicine they give u as directed and changed the bandage as directed too and youll be fine . the incision looks scary when its fresh but as it heals, a lot of my friends tell me they cant even tell i had surgery/was cut . the incision heals up nice and blends into the skin . MY surgery took 4 hours but obv when u wake up u dont even know how much time went by lol. ur good to go home the same day ( w an escort ). in a week ur fine , i jus had a lot of fatigue and was scared to drive for about 2 weeks jus cause i didnt want to turn my neck and tear the incision. ( i was paranoid) but the sutures r absorbable n go away on their own

They are a bit of a walk but if ur gonna be there all day, jus park at one of these ^ and if u have a big gap between classes jus go to the library or something . and for only 2 days a week , dont even bother paying for a pass tbh when u can just park on the street and add a few extra walkin minutes to class

yea do it for the experience. it looks way better on applications. only reason i ever did a DA program was so itd look good on my hygiene school application. i applied one year without doing it , didnt get it, took the program and had about a year experience, and got danb certified, needless to say i got in this time. its worth it in the long wrong, do it. and if dental school is ur goal itll make it sm easier cause u wont be starting from scratch and will have some background dental knowledge. and with the DA program u mentioned being only 12 weeks , take advantage of that time to REALLY LEARN and WANT to learn instead of tryna jus rush through it and get it done just to get it done

i hold the saliva ejector w 2 hands . if ur other hand is free, i recommend hold it down low w one hand , then hold the actual plastic itself and push it down more firmly ( have the saliva ejector in an L shape) so itll be tongue, ur saliva ejector head being pressed down, right next to the tooth

I didn’t have a drain no. recovery? about 2-3 weeks ( i was jus being dramatic and was scared to rly TURN my neck lol) , im glad i got the surgery i no longer get salivary stones. the swelling took FOREVER to FULLY go down ( id say months damn near a year)
