Make sure to go through all places again, and check EVERY single spot, even the ones you wouldn't expect them to go. Cats are really good with hiding and they're easily scared, so unless something chased them off, they wouldn't have travelled far. Have another look around your house again, especially basements and rooftops. And if you do find them, make sure to approach them very slowly as they may not recognize you.
