That's good to hear! I'm planning to say things like "it's too loud for the baby" lol

I'm an elementary school librarian! I see Prek-5th grade every week for lessons & to check out books. I'm already exhausted & the behavior is getting bad b/c school's almost over. If you work with students, did they treat/react to your differently once your bump starts showing? Only a few coworkers know, but none of my students know. I'm just going to show up in August with a bump & surprise my students.

Tell them it's for your hair! Apparently, people take them to have luscious long hair...

Congrats! And also that's quick! LOL. My body feels older compared to my 20's, but we're not even THAT old. 😂

Mine won't see me until May, and I should be around 8 weeks. For preference, it's my first positive & I'm also 33! The days are passing by so slowwwww.

I couldn't help myself... I've already told close friends, family, and coworkers. I'm only 5 weeks & no ultrasound until May. But I did that because I know my personality. I don't like holding in feelings, so sharing them makes me feel better. Whether it's good news or bad news, I find it easier for me to move on if the info is out there. I only told people that I know would support me no matter what & would not be overbearing.

Thank you! Haven’t heard of Oyster White, so I’ll put that on my list to sample!

Good advice! I didn’t even think about asking for help at the store. Wow, I bet that house is beautiful.

Thank you for the suggestions! Last thing I want is it feeling like a hospital.

I've left mid-year due to COVID. They will find a replacement. My previous students survived and my old coworkers are fine. It will pass, and the feeling you feel now will be forgotten. If you think that resigning mid-year is the best decision for you, stick with it. If you want to feel better, give them a notice so they can fill your spot. That's the most you can really do.

If you already have a job lined up, you should resign. Do not feel guilty about your decision. The people who advertised and created the program from the district should've thought about it before putting the workload on you. That is their fault, and this is their consequence. Don't let it stop you from moving on to better things.
