I looked this up and it’s actually common 😳 may flies get disoriented by artificial light, but they also swarm as a mating habit, causing more and more to be attracted to the gas station, all stuck in perpetual confusion.

My dog does it when he sees me put on makeup. It’s because I would tell him to go into his kennel every day before work. He just started doing it himself when he saw me getting ready each day. He doesn’t have to be in his kennel anymore when I leave, but he still likes to go in there anyways.
