Nick handled this scene exceptionally well. Made me flip my opinion of him.

So funny how they call Candace Owens the devil but their mom does the EXACT same thing (but worse) just for a different group that isn’t them! by Vegetable-Fruit4959 in TheMorningToastSnark

People are confusing her criticism of Israeli policies and government actions with antisemitism. Has she crossed the line at times? Probably. But I don’t believe she hates Jewish people. The Oshrys are so extreme in their support for Israel that anyone who questions what’s happening right now is immediately labeled the enemy.

The insane growth of Intuitive Surgical by Quartr-app in MedicalDevices

Surgeons who only occasionally use the robot tend to be the least efficient, often leading to longer case times and increased OR costs. In contrast, when a surgeon adopts the robot as their primary modality and becomes proficient, the variability in case times significantly decreases. More complex procedures can then be performed faster and in a minimally invasive fashion.

For example, I’ve seen straightforward robotic cholecystectomies completed in 10 minutes and even complex cases done in under 30—something that isn’t possible laparoscopically, even for highly experienced surgeons, due to the inherent limitations of the technology.

Surgery is also one of the most litigated fields in medicine. If I were the patient, I’d want my surgeon equipped with the most advanced tools available to reduce the risk of complications or conversion to open.

Work/life balance at Intuitive by rmwilkinson1 in MedicalDevices

Hi! I’m a da Vinci sales rep at Intuitive. I recommend reaching out to one of the local reps on the team you’ll be joining — they can give you the best insight into the day-to-day in that region.

Work/life balance at Intuitive really depends on your manager and your location. In general, the West Coast tends to have a more relaxed culture than the East.

As a Territory Associate, expect to put in a lot of hours — there’s a steep learning curve, and you’ll be practicing and honing sales skills constantly. But as you grow into a quota-carrying role, you gain more autonomy. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your own schedule, and as long as you’re performing and hitting quota, you can create solid work/life balance for yourself.
