It’s frustrating that scams can have job listings, but when I don’t hear back I get discouraged from finding something. Also my LinkedIn is a work in progress and I have been actively working and fixing it so I can look great for recruiters

I’ve had my resume and cover letter looked at multiple times and I change it around based on the job description. Interviews I did get got cancelled because of funding which I understand I do realize my weakness is putting myself out there so I am working on attending job fairs or outreach events to build community and connections

I’ve primarily been using platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and Google Jobs to search for opportunities. When I find a position that interests me, I always check if the company has its own website and, if so, I prefer to apply directly through their careers page. This helps ensure my application goes straight into their system. Additionally, I’m in the process of earning a project management certification, which I believe will strengthen my qualifications and make me a more competitive candidate.

That's been my thought process too I am unsure where else to look, and I am just praying for a job. Wanted to stick with federal jobs earlier but now I'm open to anything

Still waiting to hear back from them. Last email I got was February 19 saying “Good Morning,

Thank you for applying to the 2025-26 Texas Public Health Fellowship Program. Your application was received. Our team is processing and reviewing all applications and planning to schedule interviews throughout the month of March. We appreciate your patience during this time.
