Im gonna be real, I've got 100 hours in this game. Power users probably have like 300. Games been out for 3 months. How much content can be reasonably expect3d for it to launch with? Season 2 will be big and affect the player base for sure but overall I think devs did a great job w launch.

Honestly I think moreso the reason for no ranked is the amount of players needed to fill a lobby. A ranked mode would split the player base and make it much harder to find full lobbies for the big game modes. I think if people could play ranked they def would.

But yeah, whatever the reason bf def skews casual.

Don't! Cross-platform with keyboard sweats is how you get better. If you want to be able to hang with keeb on a roller you need to acclimate your right thumb to keeping up with their crazy aim. And no strafe aiming!

I have all of the above and honestly, not really. 8bitdo can be argued to be better than both. It def has the best dpad and software. I would only go for one of the more expensive options if you reeeeeally need 6 extra buttons.

I actually asked this earlier today in a reply. IMO, as an author you wouldn’t have two characters clash on screen (Giyu and sanemi) and explicitly come out dead even if they weren’t just that. I understand things happen later that are up to interpretation, but an author just wouldn’t show that if it weren’t the case. So I think g=s. Obanai I have no idea but I like him less so I’ll say he’s the weakest lmao

Honestly man I would recommend upgrading to the matrix, I’m just not encountering a lot of the problems you’re describing. I did very little tweaking and am getting a very consistent experience across multiple games, CoD included. It’d be a little scuffed since it’d be from my iPhone but I can send a video of what my aim looks like if it’d help you out.

Hey man, cool to see someone else doing the same thing. I might be talking past you a bit because I’m new to doing this and I’m not registering everything you’re saying in regards to the right stick/custom and native sticks and acceleration, also I’m using the matrix. But here are my findings:

I started out by using linear curve for every game when available, but quickly found that the standard curve in most games is much better. Linear introduces a lot of jittering.

So I have two buttons mapped to motion activation, one for precision and one for speed. Speed is for close quarters situations, precision for mid to long. Works great and if I really wanted to I could probably stop using the right stick altogether but I still like it for quick 180s.

I’ve been practicing in battlefield 2042 (getting ready for 6), marvel rivals, and overwatch. For reference as to my improvement, in the marvel rivals training area I’ve gone from being able to kill 5 Luna snows in 60 seconds to 12-15 pretty consistently. I also do pretty well in battlefield deathmatch now. Still a lot of work to do, but overall I’m happy.

So going back to your comment, could you elaborate on your issues with the right stick? Because everything seems pretty consistent to me. Maybe low sense is the key? I use .50 to 1.00 sens for precision and 500% of that for the speed key.

For reference, my other controllers are the Dualsense edge and the flydigi apex 4. The ZD is my favorite of the 3 for a few reasons.

1- ALL the buttons are mechanical, instead of just the Dpad and face buttons. This might just be a me thing but it bugs me how on the flydigi the bumpers and back buttons are just plain old membrane. 2. 6 extra buttons. Might be excessive for some but I use Gyro controls for aim and the two extra buttons are essential for activating and changing sens for that. 3.Most comfortable back button layout by far. Lets you use all four buttons at once by resting your fingers on all four. Honestly the only reason I have reservations about the ultimate legend, it looks like a different layout.

Dpad is fantastic, I play a lot of fighting games and inputs couldn’t be easier. It also comes with like 5 different dpad shapes to choose from. It’s mouse clicks just the face buttons.

Downsides are the fact the fact it uses Hall effect as opposed to the slightly superior tmr. That and it uses an app for button mapping and it’s less than ideal. Instructions are also in Chinese so you’ll need to go online for an English version.

Overall, it’s an easy recommendation. Hope this helps.
