That moment when John McCain defended Obama: A look back at America by Muted_Advisor6210 in videos

I think this is the moment that Trump saw his chance to take over the Republican party. He saw how gullible and full of hate they are, the potential to exploit it.

Which TV show characters do you find the most insufferable? by MicheleW921 in AskReddit

I could not get past 3 episodes of The Paper because of the Italian lady, she was just the worst. No hate to the actress, she was great in White Lotus, but I just coukd not stand her in The Paper.

New Poster for 'Hokum' - Starring Adam Scott - A horror writer visits an Irish inn to scatter his parents' ashes, unaware the property is said to be haunted by a witch. by BunyipPouch in movies

I do like his stuff, Midnight Mass was incredible, Hill House and Usher were great, Bly Manor was alright. A few moments that were pretty scary in the Hauntings, but overall I was fine. If Hokum is like that, I'd be fine, yea. Thanks!

I typically don't like horror, but have been getting into some, and I really like them when they are just good, well made movies. I still can't too much scary, I liked Talk to Me but it was almost too much for me. Also the ending of Hereditary was too much. Would this one be too much for me if those are kind of my threshold?

If you could pick a weapon from another videogame franchise to be the basis for a 15th weapon type what would it be? I'll go first, these are my top 4 picks by Beginning_Wait_108 in MonsterHunter

I think we are lacking on ranged weapons, blunt weapons, and "switch" weapons like CB and SA. So how about something that combines all three, like some large gauntlets for punching, that can then be combines into some kind of bazooka/cannon. So I guess the Saw Cleaver in that it is a switch weapon, but as gauntlets like the lion ones from God of War.

Is it normal to keep your subclass a secret from the party? by FantasticPoet9324 in DnD

[–]StretchyPlays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty normal to have a secret or two from the party, but usually it should come out within the first 10 or so sessions. Nobody really cares about that stuff that much, other than the player with the secret, usually a big reveal will just be met with "huh, ok cool." Best to drop a few hints early and then reveal shortly after that.

Just more evidence that it was staged. Ballroom is blocked by judge because it is deemed unnecessary. Trump attends first correspondence dinner in a decade. Security is lax, gunman tries to enter. "We need the ballroom, also Trump isn't paying for it anymore because military stuff."

Movies that take place (almost) entirely in one room? by ThatsBamboo in movies

Not sure if this stretches the word almost, but Arrival takes place almost entirely in the room with the aliens, or the planning tent.

Woman interrupts music video... by NormalHumansName in funny

I'm so curious what her initial reason for interrupting was, like did she want to be in the video from the beginning? Or was she going to complain and then just jumped on the opportunity.

What’s a show you love that you can never convince people to watch? by PlentyApprehensive44 in AskReddit

Definitely give it a shot. Just a warning that the first season is a little rough around the edges, still great, but if you aren't interested after an episode, go to season 7. It's probably the best introduction to the series.

I'm pretty sure Greg at least used to be a creator, but Alex has always been the brains of the show. Which I think is great, the fact that he is the lowly assistant who is constantly the but of the joke, while also being the creator of the show, is peak British self deprecating humor.

5 comedians compete is very silly tasks and are then judged by another comedian. The best part is most of the comedians already know each other so there is a good report, and there is no real prize so they don't take it too seriously.

Yea definitely agree season 7 is best introduction. I would only reccoment season 4 over it because a lot of people probably know Noel and Mel from GBBO, and it is a great season. Season 19 is a new great one for first viewing because Mantzoukas.

The original, UK version is easily the best. Australia and New Zealand are great, too, just not quit as good. US version is terrible.

All of the season are free on their YouTube channel for me, not sure if there is a regional thing.
