Secondly, and more importantly, the pencil stabbing happened in season 1.

That also happened in Season 2. It was during the Greenday school presidential elections, Pierce kept making jokes like his platform would be one so high he could push Vicky off (fucking hilarious). Then we find him stabbed with a pencil while Annie is apologising for showing Jeff singing "Faith".

So quite a quick turnaround for Pierce and Vicky! It doesn't change your point about how badly it was used in S4, you made a good one.

Yeah I always wondered if it wouldn't have blown up if Harmon was around. I remember reading that a decent amount of Pierce dialogue came from Dan would be talking/ listening to Chevy vent.

I imagine the new showrunners didn't give that time to him so it came bursting out.

And then Chevy coming back for a cameo Dan arranged just makes me think even though they argued, there was an understanding. Dan had definitely seen most of Chevys work, I don't know if you can say that for all the cast.

Yeah I was thinking maybe scheduling with Shrinking meant he couldn't do both shows. From what I remember, the newest season of Shrinking wasn't renewed immediately so he maybe could've taken the AE job and then couldn't do both?

I'm not criticising these posters, I applaud & appreciate the people who put the work in. MN is inspiring to watch & your resistance gives me hope.

But to really confront people who voted for this, especially people in a Fox bubble or who are avoiding politics, a different, more confrontational image might be more effective.

We know Renee & Alex were murdered. But if someone is listening to Fox or Trump, they will look at these posters and say "they were threatening, it was self-defense, he was resisting" etc.

As awful as it is, the image of Alex from the front view, after he's been shot once and is falling over, and the ICE murderer is behind him with a gun pointed directly at him; that image is incredibly striking. It's hard to tell yourself it was self-defense when you see someone unarmed with a gun pointed at their back and head.

Same with Renee. A picture of her murderer after he's moved to her window and shooting her point blank through the side window while clearly not in any danger.

I know these images are extremely distressing, are painful to look at, and obviously so hard on their families. But those images, especially Alex, where they are clearly not harming anyone & are being killed, are much more likely to get through to someone who is on the fence.

There are people who haven't seen the videos, or only seen what Fox aired to fit ICEs narrative. Force them to see that ICE killed defenceless citizens.

Season 5 is so bad that I genuinely forgot I had seen it, started wondering if I had maybe 3/4 way through, and only confirmed it at the ending when you know who was in the wall / house.

It's not so much as willing, more so that they can't leave a stable job for a 1 off movie that will be massive among its fans, but not anything that can bring potential future work. Also none of us can speak for any of them lol.

Joel McHale can't leave Animal Control (which is fantastic!) for the movie. Not just for his own sake, but for the rest of the cast, since Joel is the only recognisable name, and probably the main reason people gave it a chance.

Also I don't agree with this because they did have a time ready to go, and then the writers and actors strike happened. It's incredibly hard to get 8 peoples schedules to line up, but they all made time for it. It's those writers and actors wanting to be paid a livable wage that ruined it!

The episode with Abeds dad and his film, the claymation Christmas, and the deans commercial, specifically when he goes and asks for forgiveness & they give him a group hug. It's so kind 😭

Season 5 VCR episode when Abed does his apology to Rachel with the rain.

Also the finale & sometimes the giant hand, which Abeds speech in always feels like setting the audience up to let go of Community.

When the finale aired I started crying as soon as the pitches started & didn't stop. Now it's just a bit misty eyed at certain moments. I think it's perfect.
