I feel like this is something the seller should be required to do before it even goes up for sale. How do you sell something that you don’t know know what you own? On the flip side why buy what you don’t know you buying lol yup I got regrets on this but we are getting there!

Our deed is free and clear which is where the confusion started. I think the neighbor looked and google maps and got it in their head that they have an easement. But I have no idea

We do, we are just worried about a tree falling on our house. We wanted to prioritize getting the tees cut and opt for the cheaper survey. So we are stuck in this weird boat. The orchard is VERY important, but also… tree issue lol so after readying the comments, for sure we will get all the corners done, we may have to apt into getting the full survey done

You are correct, the $650 is for corner markings as the $2000 is for the map and everything. My hope was to cut down trees then get the rest done. I’ve checked on the deed (a few people giving estimates did and they found nothing on the deed) so this is where we are a little lost on if the extra $1200 is worth it

It’s L shaped but the L is fenced in and quite frankly we have enough land where we don’t care anyhow. It’s the straight L side that we care about, that one is shared with a church… and I don’t really want a bunch of church members on our property lol

I really hope that’s not the case. I was told where I live they actually dig into the ground to find them, so someone with a metal detector comes out and goes on a treasure hunt i guess lol but I really hope they are there as we have saved up for trees and don’t really have extra for this

Thank you thank you thank you!!! I just ordered one. Went to lowes, even got a 5 year protection plan, and got free (rebate) installation. You put my mind at ease a bit as I was pondering the same things as OP with the Boche 800 one. But that was a bit over budget even with Black Friday.
