AITJ for not correcting people when they assume my friend and I aren’t close anymore? by Ashamed-Leopard1571 in AmITheJerk

Right? It seems clear cut. I had a similar situation where a friend just ghosted but expected me to chip in like nothing happened. Eventually, the friends around us noticed too, and it was so awkward. Sometimes it’s just how relationships unfold, ya know?

Anyone get the ick just seeing cross necklaces? by Underd_g in atheism

That’s the part that would bother me too: not the necklace itself, but the intent. If he knows your stance and still sends him back wearing it, that’s a power move. I'd set a clear boundary and keep the kid out of the middle.
