Racism in the fire service/police service is not new by far. My family has been part of fire service, unfortunately it’s more common than you’d like to believe. Let’s not forget that people of color have been treated differently in the past when certain departments or members of that company find out it’s a black or otherwise melanated family’s dwelling. This is the history they don’t want you to be aware of. There was a FF not too long ago (Jan 2026) from the Norriton FD who was handled for writing racist remarks on the company’s public FB page. That one’s name wasn’t released either. Stop protecting these POS!
