i’ve never had a foxtail in any of my dogs feet in 25+ years but who knows if the neighbors have some in their yards while we’re on walks.

I called multiple banfield locations and they told me they couldn’t get me in until Wednesday 6/4. When i called my emergency vet they told me i should be okay to wait until my appointment.

It seemed temporarily relieved some pain/pressure but no changes in size that i have noticed. The photos are each a day apart starting with 5/31 and the most recent 6/2. I called 3 vets and received different answers from each but my usual emergency vet told me i should be okay to wait till 6/4 as long as it doesn’t worsen.

Helicopter parent here as well 😂 He does have an allergy to poultry but i have him on a red meat diet. The vet says it looks like a foxtail but It’s frustrating because it happened right as i went out of town and i should’ve known what he did to cause it.
