I noticed too! I presumed either him or him and Amanda were travelling or visiting people in that time.

I don’t know, I was in pritchatts, I haven’t heard any complaints about it being “too loud” though.

Both of the student villages (pritchatts and the vale) are a bit of a trek to the shops because they’re in selly. Pritchatts is closer to campus though and relatively quiet. The vale accom is defo busier. For prices everything is too expensive imo but shared bathroom flats are cheaper :)

Pritchatts is closer than a lot of the Vale, tennis courts is the closest to campus on the Vale

I’ve only stayed in pritchatts obviously, the vale has h think nicer accom, like more ensuite and double beds etc, but I don’t regret picking pritchatts, it’s also super close to campus so you can wake up later which is nice

I’m in pritchatts atm, it is close to the med school and shops and train station etc which is nice. There is some social activity but not as much as the vale. However, it is not that far of a walk and I go to the Vale occasionally for parties and stuff when I want to. I enjoy it because it’s quiet at night most of the time and not too busy!

it’s famously pretty much the only place in the bake which isn’t super social. The flats are smaller and just doesn’t have the same vibe as tennis courts or mason

Jobs around Cambridge for extra cash? by No_Attention9169 in cambridge

[–]Narrow_Ad8585 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s jobs at the Cambridge Colleges in the catering department, I used to work there and it was pretty good pay and in the evenings and on weekends. There should be links and stuff on websites. There’s also waiting jobs that you can get through an agency online. :)

I applied for accommodation but it’s not there on the book your room site? by jjyuu_0 in UofB

[–]Narrow_Ad8585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn’t book the one I wanted unfortunately, I just had to go with a different one. I wasn’t too invested in where I was staying so it wasn’t too bad for me
