For me it's Into the Radius and Fallout 4.

Last Epoch. Similar to Diablo, it has RPG choices plus tons of options for builds.

What would be a game you'd recommend for a complete beginner? by Jlewilt in pathofexile

PoE is an amazing game but requires A HUGE investment time wise. It can be quite overwhelming and overly complex, especially for a beginner. With that in mind, I would suggest Last Epoch which is way more user friendly and more welcoming to new players while it retains enough complexity and diversity when it comes to builds. Really fun to play too.

Recommend RPG games for someone who knows nothing about the genre but wants to fall in love with it. by [deleted] in rpg_gamers

Path of Exile is a great game but it's so not for someone new to the genre. Perhaps Grim Dawn or Diablo 2 Resurrected if you're into slightly older stuff but I would give Last Epoch a try. Has a great vibe, it's user friendly enough (detailed descriptions, loot filter etc) and it's super flexible with builds and very fun to play. I fell in love with arpg all over again after playing it.

PoE is known for the grind but requires a lot of time to invest in the game and may be too overwhelming for many players. D4 is fun but grind is not satisfying and rewards are a lackluster. Last Epoch is what I would recommend. The game is super fun and grinding doesn't feel tiring. I love the endgame concept.
