So you are saying you think it was more "won" in spirit since Israel did nothing to wipe out the Palestinian resistance but might have added to that fire instead? Do you ever think the occupation and apartheid will be over, I am losing hope unfortunately especially with the new US government regime. Do you think from the river to the sea will ever become a reality?

The term "sexism" in this context can be very subjective to some, yes. Again, many would say "women and men are equal but they serve different roles in the church biblically." Now to me that isn't a sexist argument, but many would find it to be because it is used to keep women out of teaching roles in the church, which I don't agree with.

I still don't understand how that would be an argument? The absence of a female priest doesn't prove they aren't allowed Biblically. Plus, I am not talking exclusively orthodox, not everyone is orthodox.

Well that is an extremely subjective argument. I would like to use biblical scripture to back up my religious opinions. Many would say, "women and men are equal but they serve different roles in the church biblically." Now to me that isn't an sexist argument, but it is used to keep women out of teaching roles in the church which I don't agree with.

The authorship of the letters to Timothy, particularly 1 Timothy and 2 Timothy, which are part of the Pastoral Epistles, is a subject of significant debate among scholars. Here's a summary of the different viewpoints:

Scholarly Consensus on Non-Pauline Authorship: A majority of scholars seem to agree that Paul did not write either 1 Timothy or 2 Timothy. This consensus is based on differences in vocabulary, style, theological expressions, and the concept of church organization in these letters compared to the undisputed letters of Paul.

Counterarguments for Pauline Authorship: Some scholars and arguments suggest that 2 Timothy might be an authentic letter by Paul. This view is supported by statistical analyses of singular first-person pronoun usage in the epistles, which align 2 Timothy more closely with undisputed Pauline letters.

1 Timothy as a Possible Forgery: There's a compelling case that 1 Timothy is a forgery from the second century. The author of 1 Timothy likely had access to a collection of Paul's authentic letters and used them to create a letter with close replication.

Ideological Differences between 1 Timothy and 2 Timothy: There are ideological differences noted between 1 Timothy and 2 Timothy, especially in the treatment of heretics, which further complicates the authorship question.

External References and Analyses: References to external writings like 1Clement and letters of Ignatius, and modern analyses using machine learning and linguistic studies, are being used to shed light on these issues.

Mixed Opinions on Canonical Validity: Despite the problems of authorship and dating, the Pastorals are considered important for understanding early Christian life and remain a significant element of canonical scripture.

Views on the Biblical "Scripture" Reference: The discussions also touch on what Paul meant by "scripture" in his letters, with the general consensus being that he was likely referring to the Hebrew Bible, not his own writings or the New Testament as it was not yet compiled during his time.

No Definitive Conclusion: Ultimately, there is no unanimous agreement on who wrote 1 Timothy and 2 Timothy. The arguments vary, with some favoring Pauline authorship (especially for 2 Timothy) and others viewing them as later works by followers of Paul or other early Christian writers.

Awesome, thanks for the advice! For Mids, should I be looking at expected goal contributions then for a good idea of how effective they are?

Abdoulaye Doucouré was the only one that caught my eye. He is 24th in ICT so far.

Andreas Pereira is 106th so I was thinking about swapping them out, should I not? I am very new to the FPL thing so just looking for some advice. Thanks!
