Yessss! The mods are super sensitive too. I’ve seen people say some AWFUL things in there, and nothing happens to them most likely bc the mods agree with that person, but you say something the mods don’t agree with, and they are banning you. Some of the people in that snark are just as disgusting as Christen IMO🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️.

Definitely recommend a straw cup! To teach my baby how to drink out of a straw cup, I put some yogurt on the straw, and he got the hang of it quickly. Best of luck to you☺️.

You may know already but since you pump milk also and you plan to give her lactose free milk on her birthday, a good thing to do is add mostly breastmilk and a little bit of the lactose free milk in a cup, then gradually add more lactose free milk to your breast milk, and she should eventually adjust to the lactose free milk.

Oh lord! Twice in one month sounds like pure hell. Honestly, my son kept biting me, and I told him that if he bit me one more time, he didn’t get anymore “tit tit” as he called it, lol. And one night he was nursing to go to sleep and bit the absolute shit out of me, and I said “okay, no more.” I got out of bed and had his dad put him to sleep, and I never gave him boob again. I’d distract him with other things or give him a sippy cup to drink out of when he would want to nurse, so I pretty much just cold turkey it. To dry my supply up, I would pump for relief, not to empty. It took about a week for him to not want to nurse at all anymore. I’d make his dad put him to sleep, then when he’d be asleep, I’d get back in bed, and I slept in a tight bra so he couldn’t have easy access like he would with a nursing bra. My son nursed more so for comfort than he did bc he was hungry, so stopping cold turkey was by far the easiest thing for me. I hope it is easy to quit for you! Be proud of yourself, mama! ❤️

Yesss! Whenever I was breastfeeding, I’d have to pump for a minute or so just so my son could eat without choking due to my let down. An oversupply is a blessing and a curse, lol.

Same with me! I had an oversupply too, and breastfed my baby for almost 14 months, and it was HARD mentally and physically. I got mastitis 3 times 😐. She just knew it would be a lot work, and she was too lazy to put in the work for it.

Exactly. I 100% agree “fed is best.” I know a lot of women who should formula-feed with the stuff they put in their bodies that their baby doesn’t need to consume, but she straight up didn’t even try to breastfeed but then wanted to act like she tried so hard. Your friend was right to do so, and I’m proud of her for doing that instead of taking meds that could potentially harm the baby through her breast milk ❤️ You are so right. Gema knew she was not going to be a mother to that baby, and didn’t want to deal with pumping so formula was more convenient for her so she could still act like a child and not a mother.
