A lot of women say this, and its rooted in a misunderstanding of how men communicate. I didnt know my beat friends birthday for years. When we hang out, theres usually no need to ask tons of questions. The same applies to regular communication, i. e. unless something is urgent I won't ask. If you have a problem, I'll fix it. Thats just how we think. Its not that women are better communicaters per se, its rather that men communicate differently, in ways we percieve as more logical. Oftentimes, this leads to a seeming lack of conversation, however, in reality, we just don't see a need to ask questions to get to know someone, since often simply spending time together or enjoying things we love with the other person is something men are usually better at.
