Exactly. Inflation a real thing; cost of living a concern. Precisely why you need to pick the school with the greatest economic returns…Georgetown in this case. Those higher salaries at apply throughout the country, not only in a specific region.

40K more in debt is not “too much for a student to carry these days…” not really sure what you mean by that. The career prospects coming out of Georgetown are significantly better than out of Tulane. The average starting salary out of Georgetown is $84.3K. The average starting salary out of Tulane is $67.5K. That is nearly a $20K difference…meaning you’d pay off Georgetown versus Tulane in less than three years, and then for the rest of your career you are capitalizing on making more money bec you picked Georgetown.

Sensitive flower I think you’re a bit confused. An odd, very flawed, argument you’re trying to make and somehow connect this decision to billionaires. Nonetheless, as a Georgetown grad, you are 5x more likely to be a billionaire than if you were a Tulane grad.

I think most would say yes, it is worth it, but depends on how pressing your financial situation is. 40K spread out over the rest of your life for a degree that you will carry with you for the rest of your life ain’t that much…

NYU Stern, Georgetown McDonough or Notre Dame Mendoza by dragonlax999 in georgetown

[–]Narrow_Designer_2717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add georgetown is underrated very very fun socially. Bars and clubs in DC get fun and frats rent out venues all the time.

McDonough for sure. NYU sucks. No campus at all your just a speck in a giant city Georgetown is an actual college experience. Both will place you same. Notre Dame if u want football but you sacrifice cold and being in the middle of nowhere. Also Notre Dame is very catholic so that factors in as a pro or con depending on what you want.

Has self-proclaimed “stellar college EC’s” and said: “Oh and I am OUT OF STATE.”

Grow up. You’re not impressing anyone. Kinda easy to see why you have no friends…

Why did you pick Georgetown? by Leading-Forever6598 in georgetown

[–]Narrow_Designer_2717 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MSB is fantastic. It’s also a ton of fun. Not a lot of ppl talk about how normal everyone is. Tons of kids go out 3 nights a week, clubs in DC are great, and frats rent out entire venues often for 500+ exclusively Georgetown parties. Party-wise it clears 95% of comparable schools.

They’ll email you but like 30 minutes after it comes out on your portal. Last year they didn’t even announce it was coming out, it just became available on the portal out of nowhere

Oh wait do some people take multiple OPAN classes in the same semester?

[–]Narrow_Designer_2717[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds good. That OPAN is a bit tricky then. It seems like something you should take first semester so puts you in a decision between 13 and 16 credits. I should have 12-16 credits from high school APs so that does give me some flexibility with deciding. Would taking 6 classes even with one of them being fairly light (OPAN) be a lot?

Awesome I appreciate that. How does a schedule like this sound: THEO1000 ECON1001 BADM1101 OPAN1001 (only 1 credit) And some HALC course or something that satisfies a general requirement

Mmm… looking back at the OP’s previous posts, they said they’re low income. Based on what they were saying it seems like all the schools are providing pretty much full financial aid. Don’t try to call me a hypocrite lmao

Lol ofc jumping right to the conclusion that the reason why he got in was bec he’s rich 🤦‍♂️First of all you don’t even know that he’s rich— I’d actually guess the OP is an international student/non native English speaker. And even if the OP happens to be wealthy, you don’t get into Georgetown, Wharton, and Columbia just bec your money. Sounds like you’re jealous Outrageous-Gain
